The COVID-19 outbreak have also affected the way we care for our patients.
To protect our personnel and you, and to comply with regulations, we try and limit the number of people in our unit. Visitors may report on arrival, but will be requested to wait in their vehicles until called.
Everyone is expected to wear a mask when entering our unit. We do have masks for sale.
We will screen you by asking a few simple questions and measuring your temperature with a non-touch method.
Hand sanitizer will be available. You will be asked to sanitize your hands on arrival.

Do not be anxious about the COVID-19 outbreak. We have been able to slow down the spread of the virus in our community to enable our healthcare system to cope with the number of cases.
Currently everyone needing admission to hospital will have to be tested for COVID-19.
We will give you a request for to have a swab taken at any of the private laboratories.
You will need to fill out a contact line list – this is a list of close contacts that you may have had from the time of developing symptoms or 48-hours before the test was done.
