Dr Lizanne Langenhoven qualified as a clinical and radiation oncologist from the university of Stellenbosch in 2014. She holds MBChB from the University of the Free State which she obtained in 2005.

She joined the clinical team at panorama Mediclinic in 2015 after a brief stint in Namibia

Lizanne has a special interest in the management of breast cancer, gynaecological cancers, head and neck cancer and malignant melanoma. She takes great pride in her management of cancer related pain. She was awarded the prize for the best over 30-year researcher in the academic year day of the department of the medical imaging/ radiation oncology in 2013 for her research on the presentation of the breast cancer in HIV positive women. She presented her research at Columbia University in NYC in 2012 as part of a fellowships in AIDS related malignancies.

Lizanne has since authored multiple articles, including a contribution to an esteemed international collaboration on the management of cancer pain.

She recently became a mom to Sophia. She loves cooking, her husband (Adriaan) and their two cats: Dexter and Toby.

Lizanne prides herself in caring for her patients on every level- be it physical or emotional.
