Meet The Team
Jennifer Dunn
Jennifer Dunn obtained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cape Town in 2006. She specialised in Lymphatic therapy and Wound care and completed her lymphoedema and wound care certification in 2016 through Lymphatic Education Africa. Her passion is assisting patients in regaining function and self esteem through the sustainable reduction of swelling as well as pain management. Jen has received her trainers certification for certifying therapists. Jen completed the Fluorescence Guided Manual Lymph Drainage Certification in 2019 and is one of 13 South African therapists trained in the advanced technique. Jen is also a part of the Lymphoedema Association of South Africa exco commitee as secretary.
Jana Van Der Merwe
Jana van der Merwe obtained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Western Cape in 2017. Thereafter she specialised in orthopaedics, specifically hand therapy, and vocational rehabilitation. She later developed a passion for the management of lymphatic conditions. Jana completed the Fluorescence Guided Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certification through Lymphoedema Training Academy (UK) in 2021. She is also currently completing her certification in Oncology Rehabilitation through Pinc and Steel
Jessica Holmes
Jessica Holmes obtained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Cape Town in 2019. She developed a keen interest in hand therapy while completing her community service year. She currently also specialises in lymphatic conditions and hopes to complete her lymphoedema certification later this year. Jessica is passionate about empowering people to achieve what they never thought possible
